Andrew Friedman Biography
Andrew Friedman is an American baseball executive. Currently serving as the President of Baseball Operations for the Los Angeles Dodgers, he has had a successful career in Major League Baseball (MLB). Before joining the Dodgers, Friedman was the general manager for the Tampa Bay Rays, where he was named Executive of the Year in 2008. Under his leadership, the Rays achieved their first playoff qualification and World Series appearance. Since taking over the Dodgers in 2014, Friedman has led the team to a World Series victory, three pennants, and seven division titles. Known for his strategic approach, Baseball America has recognized the Dodgers as the model franchise in the sport during Friedman's tenure. Born in Houston, Friedman attended Tulane University on a baseball scholarship.
