Andrew Legg

Andrew Legg is a Tasmanian musician and director of the Southern Gospel Choir at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music. He is also the Head of School at the Conservatorium and a contemporary piano & keyboard tutor. Legg is trained as a classical pianist, composer, and teacher, but is best known for his work in contemporary music genres such as gospel, soul, and jazz. He has collaborated with acclaimed US gospel artists such as Myron Butler, Kirk Franklin, Horace Boyer, Marvin Weatherford, and Xanielle Davis. In addition to his musical pursuits, Legg is the Director of Music at St Clements Anglican Church in Kingston. He has a PhD in African-American history and gospel music from Martin Luther King University.
