Andrew Leung

Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen is a Hong Kong politician and the current President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. Born on February 24, 1951, Leung comes from a family that runs a textile factory. He studied at the University of Leeds and joined his family business, becoming the chairman of Sun Hing Knitting Factory in Kwai Chung. Leung has been actively involved in the manufacturing industry, serving as the honorary president of the Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers' Association. He has also held prominent positions such as chairman and honorary chairman of the Textile Council of Hong Kong. Prior to his current role, Leung was the chairman of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong.
