    Andy Williams (1927-2012) was an American singer and television personality. Known for his smooth voice, he recorded 43 albums throughout his career, with 15 going gold and three achieving platinum status. Williams received six Grammy Award nominations and sold over 45 million records worldwide, including more than 10 million in the United States. From 1962 to 1971, he hosted The Andy Williams Show, a popular television variety show that won three Emmy Awards. In addition to his TV series, Williams appeared in numerous TV specials. He passed away in September 2012 at the age of 84 after battling bladder cancer.
