Angela Shelton

Angela Shelton (born December 5, 1972) is an American screenwriter, actress, and documentary film director and producer. She gained recognition for her work in the film industry, particularly for her role in the 1999 film Tumbleweeds and her documentary Searching for Angela Shelton in 2004. Shelton also wrote, directed, and edited the documentary. She is the author of the 2008 book Finding Angela Shelton: The True Story of One Woman's Triumph over Sexual Abuse. In addition to her film and writing work, Shelton has appeared in other films such as Comfortably Numb (1995), The Shrink Is In (2001), and Beautiful Dreamer ( Daysleeper) (2009).
