    Angela Yee (born January 3, 1976) is an American radio personality known for her work in the industry. She currently hosts the syndicated radio show Way Up, and was previously one of the hosts of the nationally syndicated morning show The Breakfast Club alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. Yee is actively involved in various organizations, serving on the Board of Governors for the We Are Family Foundation and as a board member for the American Foundation for the University of the West Indies. She is also the first-ever ambassador for the New York Public Library system. In addition, since 2019, Yee has held the position of BSE Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement Ambassador. Born to a Chinese father and an Afro-Montserratian mother, Yee grew up in Flatbush, Brooklyn in New York City. She attended Poly Prep and later transferred to Columbia High School when her family moved to South Orange, New Jersey. Yee graduated from Wesleyan University with a major in English in 1997, and initially pursued a career in marketing.
