Angelo Anthony Cataldi Jr. (born March 13, 1951) is an American retired sports radio personality known for his long career with 94.1 WIP in Philadelphia. Beginning as a sports journalist for The Philadelphia Inquirer, Cataldi hosted The WIP Morning Show from 1989 until 2023, which became one of the most popular shows in Philadelphia radio history. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Cataldi grew up as a fan of the New York Yankees. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and later earned a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University in 1977. Cataldi started his career as a news editor for the Narragansett Times and later worked for the Providence Journal as a general assignments reporter.
