Angus Turner Jones is an American former actor best known for his role as Jake Harper in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. Born on October 8, 1993, in Austin, Texas, Jones began his acting career at a young age. He won two Young Artist Awards and a TV Land Award for his portrayal of Jake Harper during his 10-year tenure on the show. Jones also appeared in several films early in his career, including Simpatico, See Spot Run, and The Rookie. Two and a Half Men was the most popular sitcom in the United States during its run, with an average audience of around 15 million people. In 2010, Jones became the highest paid child star in television.
