Anna Drezen

Anna Drezen is an American writer, actress, and comedian known for her work in television and comedy. She has written for popular TV comedies such as Miracle Workers, Girls5eva, Murderville, and Saturday Night Live, where she served as Head Writer for seasons 46 and 47. As a creator, she is known for the Freeform series Praise Petey. Drezen is a native of Long Island, growing up in Massapequa, New York. She graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2010, studying drama. Additionally, she earned a certificate in Shakespeare in Performance from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. With a diverse family background, Drezen identifies as half-Jewish. She has a dog named Lady Bird, a Chihuahua-Terrier mix named after former first lady Lady Bird Johnson.
