Annie Chen

Annie Chen Ting-ni, born on April 28, 1989, is a Taiwanese actress, host, and model. She gained recognition after winning the Kaiwo Phantasy Star Catwalk Girl modeling contest in 2007. Chen made her acting debut in 2008, starring as Zhao Ke Rou in the drama series Prince + Princess 2. Born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan, she is an only child. Chen's parents had difficulty conceiving naturally, so she was conceived through in vitro fertilization. Her father owned a wholesale frozen poultry business that unfortunately went bankrupt in 2010 due to the bird flu virus outbreak. Chen attended Viator Catholic High School and Shin Min High School before studying finance at Kainan University and later Hsing Wu University of Science and Technology.
