Annie Hogan

Annie Hogan, also known as Ann Margaret Hogan, is a British musician, record producer, composer, and club DJ. Born in 1961, Hogan initially gained recognition for her association with British musician Marc Almond. She has since collaborated with various artists and released solo material with Downwards Records since 2020. Hogan studied piano and attended Leeds University in 1979 to study politics. While in Leeds, she met Almond and Dave Ball at a local music venue. She began DJing and promoting in local clubs, booking acts like Soft Cell and the Human League. Hogan's recording with Simon Fisher Turner on the album 'Deux Filles' introduced her to Almond, leading to their collaboration on his solo material.
