Annie Lowrey
Annie M. Lowrey (born July 22, 1984) is an American journalist known for her writings on politics and economic policy. She has worked for prominent publications such as The Atlantic, the New York Times, and Slate. Lowrey has contributed to the editorial staffs of Foreign Policy and The New Yorker as well. She is a leading advocate for universal basic income. Lowrey is a graduate of Harvard University, where she wrote for the Harvard Crimson. She has made notable appearances as a guest on several television shows including PBS Newshour, The Rachel Maddow Show, Morning Joe, Up with Steve Kornacki, Real Time with Bill Maher, and Bloggingheads.tv. Lowrey is married to Ezra Klein, co-founder of Vox and a columnist and podcast host at the New York Times. They have two children.
