Anton Rodgers Biography
Anton Rodgers (10 January 1933 – 1 December 2007) was an English actor and occasional director. He had a successful career in stage, film, and television, appearing in various dramas and sitcoms. Notable among his work were his roles in sitcoms like Fresh Fields (ITV, 1984–86), its sequel French Fields (ITV, 1989–91), and May to December (BBC, 1989–94). Rodgers was born on 10 January 1933 in Ealing, Middlesex, and received his early education at Westminster City School. He trained at the Italia Conti Academy and LAMDA. With a career spanning from the age of 14, Rodgers was best known for his television performances, particularly his roles in Fresh Fields and May to December.
