Audie N. Cornish (born October 9, 1979) is an American journalist and former co-host of NPR's All Things Considered. Currently, she serves as an anchor and correspondent for CNN, as well as the host of The Assignment, a CNN Audio podcast. Prior to her work at CNN, Cornish hosted Profile by Buzzfeed News, a web-only interview show, and NPR Presents, a conversation series with creatives. She was born in Randolph, Massachusetts, to Jamaican parents. Cornish graduated from Randolph High School and earned a journalism degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Throughout her career, she has worked for NPR, WBUR, and the Associated Press, covering a range of topics including education and Capitol Hill issues.
