August Emerson

August Emerson is an American actor known for his work in television, independent film, and musical theatre. He gained recognition for his portrayal of musician Dylan Carlson in the 2015 docudrama Soaked in Bleach, which examines the untimely death of Kurt Cobain. Currently, Emerson is playing the role of Connor Murphy in the national tour of Dear Evan Hansen. With a background in local theatre productions and commercials in South Florida, he developed his acting skills from a young age. Emerson was a recurring regular in the first three seasons of the acclaimed AMC Network drama series Halt and Catch Fire. He has also appeared in popular shows like The Mentalist, Bones, and ER.
