Austin Freeman

Austin Mambu Freeman, Jr. (born May 6, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for San Carlos in the Dominican Torneo de Baloncesto Superior (TBS). Freeman attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland, where he excelled in basketball. He continued his basketball career at Georgetown University, playing for the Hoyas in the NCAA Division I. In his college career, Freeman was named the pre-season Big East Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year. After going undrafted in the 2011 NBA draft, he signed with Fulgor Libertas Forlì in Italy. Freeman has since played for various international teams and has established himself as a versatile player.
