Aya Nakamura

Aya Nakamura, born Aya Danioko on May 10, 1995, is a French pop singer known for her chart-topping hits. Originally from Bamako, Mali, she immigrated to France with her family and grew up in Aulnay-sous-Bois. Coming from a family of griots, she is the oldest of five siblings. Aya studied fashion at La Courneuve before pursuing a career in music. She gained popularity online with songs like 'Karma' and 'J'ai mal' and eventually signed with Dembo Camara as her producer and manager. Her breakthrough came with the release of her debut album 'Journal intime' in 2017, followed by the highly successful 'Nakamura' in 2018. With hit singles like 'Djadja' and 'Copines', Aya Nakamura has become an international sensation.
