Balvinder Sopal

Balvinder Sopal (born December 4, 1978) is an English actress known for her appearances in British soap operas. She has portrayed the role of Suki Panesar in the BBC soap opera EastEnders consistently since January 2020. Sopal was born in Chatham, Kent and raised in Gillingham, Kent. She attended the University of Huddersfield. Sopal made her professional acting debut in 2001 and has since appeared in stage productions and onscreen. Notable TV appearances include Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Doctors, and Hollyoaks. In 2008, she appeared in the BBC film White Girl.
