Barney Glover

Barney Glover, also known as Bevil Milton Glover, is an Australian academic and university administrator. He currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor and President of Western Sydney University. Glover completed his education at Newcomb High School in Victoria and earned a PhD in mathematics from the University of Melbourne in 1993. He started his executive career at the University of Ballarat, where he held several positions, including Director of Research and Graduate Studies. He later joined Curtin University as the Director of Research and Development and then became the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Research and Development. Prior to his current role, Glover served as the Vice-Chancellor of Charles Darwin University. In addition, he was elected as the Chair of Universities Australia in 2015.
