Barry Anderson

Barry Anderson is an associate justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court and a former member of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Born on October 24, 1954, in Mankato, Minnesota, Anderson graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1976 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1979. He practiced law in Fairmont and Hutchinson, serving as city attorney in the latter for over a decade. Anderson is certified as a civil trial specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and has represented plaintiffs and defendants in various cases. He has also been involved in community activities, including serving as chairman of the Board of Directors of Hutchinson Community Video Network and as President of the Hutchinson Rotary Club.
