Bava Chelladurai is an Indian Tamil writer, storyteller, and actor. He gained recognition for his storytelling skills when he began reciting books aloud in Tiruvannamalai, initially attracting an audience of 60 people that eventually grew to 500. Chelladurai's storytelling videos, uploaded on YouTube by his son, Vamsi, became popular. Apart from his passion for storytelling, Chelladurai has also acted in numerous films. He portrayed a comical character in the film Joker (2016), followed by supporting roles in Kudimagan (2019) and Psycho (2020). He played a significant role as a health minister in Walter (2020) and appeared as Krishnan in the Indian Tamil legal film Jai Bhim (2021). Chelladurai is known for his activism, particularly in advocating for the rights of Dalits and speaking against environmental issues such as the construction of a drainage pipe in Sonagiri Forest in Tiruvannamalai. Additionally, he has authored several Tamil books including Ella Nalum Karthigai, From 19 DM Saron, and Bashirin Arai Aththanai Elithil Thi.
