    Ben Bishop Biography
    Benjamin Manning Bishop III (born November 21, 1986) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the St. Louis Blues, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings, and Dallas Stars. Bishop, nicknamed 'Big Ben,' is known for being the tallest goaltender in NHL history, standing at 6ft 7in. He was a three-time Vezina Trophy finalist, an award given to the NHL's top goaltender. Born in Denver, Colorado, Bishop grew up in St. Louis and played minor ice hockey for the Kirkwood Stars and the St. Louis Junior Blues. He attended Chaminade College Preparatory School and played high school hockey there.
