Ben Black

Ben Black (born 29 April 1981) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a scrum-half in the 2000s and 2010s. He made his first grade debut for the Wests Tigers in 2001 and also played for Halifax and Batley Bulldogs. Black is known for kicking the winning drop goal in the 2010 Co-operative Championship Grand Final, securing the victory for Halifax. After retiring from professional rugby, Black served as the captain/coach of Group 9 club Wagga Brothers. He is recognized for his contributions to the sport and his leadership skills both on and off the field.
