Ben Carroll

Benjamin Alan Carroll is an Australian politician and lawyer. Born on July 12, 1975, in Airport West, Victoria, Carroll has been the current deputy premier of Victoria since October 2023. He is also the deputy leader of the Victorian branch of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) since 2023. Carroll has been a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly representing the division of Niddrie since 2012. In addition to his political career, Carroll has held various ministerial portfolios, including Minister for Education and Deputy Premier of Victoria since the 2023 cabinet reshuffle. He studied law at La Trobe University and graduated with honors in 2000.
