Ben Wang
Ben Wang is an American materials scientist and professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology's H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He specializes in materials engineering and is known for his work in applying emerging technologies to improve the manufacturing of affordable composite materials. Wang earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Tunghai University in Taiwan, and later completed his master's and Ph.D. degrees, also in industrial engineering, from Pennsylvania State University. Prior to his current position at Georgia Tech, he was a Professor of Engineering and Director of the High-Performance Materials Institute at Florida State University. Wang has also founded the Florida Advanced Center for Composite Technologies in 1998.
