Ben Wang

Ben Wang is an American materials scientist and professor specializing in materials engineering. He is currently a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology's H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, where he holds the Eugene C. Gwaltney, Jr. Chair in Manufacturing. Additionally, Wang serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute. He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Tunghai University in Taiwan, and later obtained master's and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Prior to his current position, Wang was a Professor of Engineering and Director of the High-Performance Materials Institute at Florida State University. In 1998, he founded the Florida Advanced Center for Composite Technologies.
