Benjamin Kim is an American pianist known for his exceptional talent. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Kim started studying the piano at the age of five and quickly displayed his prodigious abilities. By the age of eight, he had already performed his first public solo recital and made his orchestral debut at twelve. Kim's dedication to his craft led him to complete an accelerated Bachelor of Music degree at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory, studying under renowned pianist Leon Fleisher. He continued his studies at Peabody as a candidate for the Artist Diploma program, mentored by Fleisher and Yong Hi Moon. Kim's exceptional skills earned him recognition internationally, including winning the First prize at the 55th ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2006. Throughout his career, Kim has performed at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
