Bernard Kay

Bernard Kay (23 February 1928 – 25 December 2014) was an English actor known for his extensive work in theatre, television, and film. After starting his career as a reporter, Kay began acting in the army and later gained a scholarship to study at the Old Vic Theatre School. He became a professional actor in 1950 and appeared in numerous TV productions, including Emmerdale Farm, The Champions, Z-Cars, Coronation Street, Jonathan Creek, and Foyle's War. Kay also had notable film roles, such as portraying Captain Stanley Lord in the BBC dramatisation Trial by Inquiry: Titanic. His versatile career spanned several decades and showcased his talent and versatility as an actor.
