Bill Glass Biography
Bill Glass (August 16, 1935 – December 5, 2021) was an American professional football player who played as a defensive end for 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He began his career with the Detroit Lions and ended it with the Cleveland Browns, where he gained recognition as a standout player. Glass played college football for the Baylor Bears and was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1985. His professional career included one year with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and a total of 11 seasons in the NFL, with four years in Detroit and seven years in Cleveland.
