Bill Morey (December 19, 1919 – December 10, 2003) was an American character actor. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, Morey began his career in the 1940s, performing on stage and radio. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Oscar in the 1990s sitcom, The John Larroquette Show. Morey was a World War II veteran and was awarded the 1970 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He also acted in and directed productions at various theaters, including the Cherry County Playhouse and the Civic Theater, now known as the Old Town Playhouse. Morey's talents were recognized by director Michael Ritchie, who cast him in his first feature role in Prime Cut (1972).
