Bill Southworth
Bill Southworth, born William Frederick Southworth on November 10, 1945, is a retired American professional baseball player and former Major League Baseball third baseman. Standing at 6 ft tall and weighing 205 lb, Southworth played for the Milwaukee Braves during his four-season pro career from 1964 to 1967. He signed with the Braves after graduating from Webster Groves High School in St. Louis. In his MLB trial, Southworth appeared in three games, starting as the Braves' third baseman twice and collecting two hits, including a two-run home run. He batted .286 and handled two chances in the field. Southworth was known for his right-handed throwing and batting.
