Bill Wiley
William D. Wiley (born 1971) is an American politician and member of the Republican Party. He was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2020, representing the 29th district, which includes the city of Winchester, and parts of Warren and Frederick Counties in Virginia. Prior to his election, Wiley served on the Winchester city council for six years. He also gained experience on the city's Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning Commission after moving to Winchester with his wife. In 2018, Wiley became the president of the city council. Wiley ran for re-election in 2018, winning against Democratic challenger Teri Merrill. He won the Republican Party nomination for the special election after incumbent Virginia state delegate Chris Collins resigned in June 2020.
