Bishop Briggs

Bishop Briggs, born Sarah Grace McLaughlin on July 18, 1992, is a British-American singer and songwriter. She gained recognition with her single 'River', which reached number 3 on the US Alternative Chart and has been streamed over 485 million times on Spotify. Her debut album, 'Church of Scars', was released in April 2018 and featured 'River'. In July 2019, Island Records released her second album, 'Champion', which received critical acclaim. Bishop Briggs was born in London to Scottish parents from Bishopbriggs, which later became her stage name. She discovered her passion for performing at a young age while living in Tokyo and was influenced by the city's karaoke culture and diverse music scene. She began writing her own songs at the age of seven.
