Bob Goody Biography
Robert Goody (16 April 1951 – 5 March 2023) was a British actor, librettist, writer, and former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and was a founder member of the acclaimed theatre company Shared Experience. Goody appeared in various roles with the company, including Aleksandr Torra, the Torbinator, and the Turnpike in Hamlet. He also toured with the Royal Shakespeare Company, performing as Dr. Pinch in The Comedy of Errors and as the Ghost and the Gravedigger in Hamlet. In 1991, he played the Chief Weasel in Alan Bennett's adaptation of The Wind in the Willows for the National Theatre at The Old Vic in London.
