Bob Peters (October 6, 1937 – December 14, 2021) was a Canadian men's ice hockey coach known for his successful tenure as the head coach of the Bemidji State University ice hockey team from 1967 to 2001. He also served as the head coach of the University of North Dakota's ice hockey team from 1964 to 1966. Peters led the Fighting Sioux to a Western Collegiate Hockey Association title and a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships during his first season. With 702 wins, he ranks fifth all-time in career wins by a men's college ice hockey coach. Peters played a key role in establishing Bemidji State University's hockey program as a dominant force in college hockey, leading the team to its first national championship within two seasons of his arrival.
