Bobby Brown Biography
Robert Barisford Brown Sr., born on February 5, 1969, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer. He gained fame as a member of the R&B and pop group New Edition from 1978 to 1985. Brown then embarked on a successful solo career, with his second album Don't Be Cruel (1988) becoming a commercial and critical hit. The album produced five top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, including the number one hit "My Prerogative" and the Grammy Award-winning "Every Little Step". Brown's contributions to the Ghostbusters II soundtrack in 1989 further solidified his success. Although his subsequent album Bobby (1992) did not match the sales of its predecessor, it still achieved 3× Platinum certification.
