Bobby Hatfield Biography
Bobby Hatfield (August 10, 1940 – November 5, 2003) was an American singer best known as one-half of the Righteous Brothers, alongside Bill Medley. Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Hatfield moved to Anaheim, California at a young age. He attended Anaheim High School, where he excelled in sports and held various leadership positions. Hatfield's passion for music led him to pursue a singing career while still in high school and later at Fullerton College. He met Bill Medley while attending California State University, Long Beach, and together they formed the Righteous Brothers. Hatfield sang the tenor part for the duo and also had a solo hit with their 1965 recording of 'Unchained Melody.'
