Bobby Rivers Biography
Bobby Rivers is an American television and radio personality and actor. He gained recognition as the host of the now-defunct Top 5 show on the Food Network and Watch Bobby Rivers, a prime-time celebrity talk show on VH1. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Bobby graduated from Marquette University in Wisconsin. His television career began in 1979 as Milwaukee's first African-American film critic on WISN-TV's 'PM Magazine'. In addition to his work on television, Bobby made his mark in the film industry as a contestant on the syndicated classic film trivia game show 'The Movie Game' in 1970, becoming the program's first African-American contestant and youngest winner.
