Booth Colman Biography
Booth Colman (March 8, 1923 – December 15, 2014) was an American film, television, and stage actor. He appeared in films since 1952, including an uncredited role in The Big Sky directed by Howard Hawks. Known for playing older authority figures, Colman portrayed characters such as doctors and lawyers. Born in Portland, Oregon, he started his career as a child actor in local productions and became active in local radio. Colman studied Oriental language at the University of Washington and the University of Michigan. He served in the United States Army during World War II and later embarked on a successful Broadway career, initially joining Maurice Evans' acting company.
