Boyd Holbrook is an American actor and model born on September 1, 1981, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He gained recognition for his portrayal of DEA agent Steve Murphy in the Netflix series Narcos (2015–2016) and as the Corinthian in The Sandman (2022–). Holbrook also appeared in the History miniseries Hatfields & McCoys as 'Cap' Hatfield, and in films such as The Skeleton Twins (2014), A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014), Logan (2017), The Predator (2018), O.G. (2019), In the Shadow of the Moon (2019), and Vengeance (2022). Before his acting career, Holbrook worked as a carpenter and was discovered while working part-time at Jenny Wiley Theatre. He has also pursued modeling, working with renowned designers such as Dior, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, and Hugo Boss.
