Brendan Murray is an Irish singer and former member of the Irish boy band HomeTown. Born on November 16, 1996, in Tuam, County Galway, Brendan attended St Patrick's Primary School and St Jarlath's College in Tuam. In 2014, he joined HomeTown, a band managed by Louis Walsh, and achieved chart success with number one singles such as 'Where I Belong' and 'Cry for Help.' The band's debut album, HomeTown, reached number four in Ireland. Brendan represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song 'Dying to Try' but didn't make it to the final. He later competed in The X Factor (UK) in 2018 and was eliminated as the twelfth contestant.
