Brendan Walsh

Brendan Walsh (born 1959) is an American chef and the Dean of the School of Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America. Known for his expertise in southwestern cuisine, Walsh began his culinary career as the original chef of Arizona 206 in New York City from 1985 to 1988. He received recognition for his culinary skills when he won the prestigious 'Who's Who of Cooking in America' James Beard Foundation Award. Walsh graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1980 and gained experience working at renowned restaurants such as Stars in San Francisco. Throughout his career, he has been featured in magazines such as Food & Wine and USA Today. Walsh's contribution to the culinary world extends beyond his role as a chef, as he now serves as an influential figure in culinary education.
