Brian Allard

Brian Marshall Allard (born January 3, 1958) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Texas Rangers (-) and Seattle Mariners. He was selected by the Rangers in the fourth round of the 1976 Major League Baseball Draft. Allard made his debut with the Rangers on August 8, and finished the '79 season with a 4.32 ERA. In , he went 0-1 for the Rangers with a 5.65 ERA. On December 12,, Allard was traded to the Seattle Mariners. He started seven games for the Mariners. Allard's fastball ranged from 90-95 mph and he also threw a curveball, slider, and changeup. He currently resides in Washington.
