Brian Flanagan

Brian Flanagan is an Irish American former member of the American radical left organizations Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Weather Underground Organization (WUO). Raised in Manhattan, New York, Flanagan's parents, an advertising executive and a teacher, stockbroker, and antique dealer, introduced him to politics at a young age. At Columbia University, Flanagan studied philosophy and economics, and was actively involved in the protests against the Vietnam War.
