Brian Paul Klaas (born June 29, 1986) is an American political scientist, author, and contributing writer at The Atlantic. He is an associate professor in global politics at University College London. Klaas earned a BA (Summa cum laude) from Carleton College and an MPhil degree in political science from St. Antony's College, University of Oxford, where he later completed his DPhil. He is the author of 'Corruptible: Who Gets Power and How It Changes Us' and the co-author of 'How to Rig an Election.' Klaas is known for his expertise in US foreign policy and democratization and frequently provides commentary in the media.
