Brian Morrison, also known as Father Brian Morrison, is a Catholic priest who dedicated 40 years of his life to providing crisis care for people affected by natural and man-made disasters. Born as Brian John Morrison, he grew up in Malvern, an inner suburb of Melbourne, before moving to Western Australia in 1972. In Western Australia, Father Brian developed the Catholic Church's Crisis Care centre, which regularly distributes tonnes of food to those in need and organizes an annual Christmas Appeal. His humanitarian work earned him the Western Australian Senior of the Year award in 2006. Father Brian also collected donations from the community to support Australian disaster relief efforts and traveled extensively overseas, including thirty trips to places such as East Timor.
