Bridget Kelly

Bridget Kelly is an American singer and songwriter born on April 8, 1986, in New York City. She is of a biracial background, with Bahamian and Irish descent. Kelly graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan. In 2008, she signed a recording contract with Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation. As a pop and R&B artist, she has written songs for fellow American singers like Kelly Clarkson. Kelly has often filled in for Alicia Keys during performances of the song 'Empire State of Mind' with Jay-Z, including appearances on popular shows like 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' and 'Later...with Jools Holland.'
