Bryn Roy

Bryn Roy (born April 14, 1988) is a Canadian football linebacker. He currently plays for the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Roy was drafted 34th overall by the Alouettes in the 2012 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 24, 2012. He previously played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Born and raised in Dalemead, Alberta, Roy comes from a family with a background in rodeo. He competed in Team Roping as a teenager before transitioning to football. He played college football with the Texas A&M–Commerce Lions. At Foothills Composite High School, Roy was a standout player at safety and wide receiver, earning several accolades including team and regional MVP titles.
