Burke Roberts is an American underground film director and multimedia artist. Born and raised on a ranch in Fort Collins, Colorado, Roberts moved to Hollywood at the age of eighteen and pursued a career in acting. He appeared in various television shows and films, including Vincent Gallo's 'Brown Bunny' and 'NYPD Blue'. Roberts studied the Meisner Technique with William Alderson and worked closely with Sanford Meisner during his later years. In the late 1990s, he shifted his focus entirely to filmmaking and art installation. Known for his DIY high-production values, Roberts' work as a director has gained international acclaim and has been showcased at film festivals, galleries, museums, and independent cinemas worldwide.
