Byron Kane
Byron Kane (May 9, 1923 – April 10, 1984) was a radio and film actor and producer known for his collaborations with Blake Edwards and his voice work. Born in Vermont and raised in California, Kane began his career in radio at the age of 17. He gained recognition for his audition for Norman Corwin and secured the juvenile lead for the program. Kane's impressive voice talents were showcased in the short film 'Polly Wants a Doctor' and he also contributed to Orson Welles's radio program during his time at Camp Fannin. Throughout the 1940s and '50s, Kane appeared on various radio programs including 'Gunsmoke' and 'Suspense'. Additionally, he served as associate producer for Blake Edwards' detective television shows.
